WELCOME TO VINTAGE AEROMODELLING

Vintage aeromodellers celebrate the history of aeromodelling by building and flying models that
were designed as far back as the 1930’s. Early models were Free Flight (FF) and once launched
they were not under the control of the flier. While free flight models are still built today, most
now guide their models using Radio Control (RC).

For the competitive, there are events for Vintage models that test building and flying skills,
although some just enjoy seeing their models in the air. In vintage aeromodelling the beauty or
historical significance of a design can be just as satisfying as how well it performs.
